Paper Bag Waist Skirt

paper bag waist skirt diy

Paper bag waist skirts are the easiest skirts you can make!

What you will need:

  • Rectangle piece of fabric and a smaller piece of the same fabric to make belt loops. (Making a belt from the fabric also looks cool)

Measure up and cut the fabric. I usually cut the fabric around 120-130 cm wide to get the best paper bag effect in the waist. Measure around your body and try it out with a belt to see how wide you should cut yours.

Sew it up. If you have a fabric that frays you will need to sew the edges as well. Sew on some belt loops.

And your skirt is done! Attach a belt and wear with your favourite top!
